AMY LAMÉ APPOINTED LONDON’S NIGHT CZAR

Congratulations to Amy Lamè who has been appointed London’s first Night Czar by Mayor Sadiq Khan at an announcement here at The 100 Club.

The BBC Radio broadcaster has also run LGBT clubnight Duckie since the mid 90s, largely at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern.

Lamè described her new role as ‘the toughest gig there is’ and that she would be 100% the Night Czar for all Londoners. Nightlife in London is my life.’.

The Night Czar position follows the successful appointments of night mayors in Amsterdam, Paris and Zurich.
