Legendary American Bluesman Lucky Peterson, master of the blues guitar and the Hammond B3, is joining the line up for Innervisions Festival 2018.
Recently nominated by Jazz FM for ‘Best Blues Act’ in 2018, Lucky Peterson and the Organization are coming to London’s world famous 100 Club as part of his “The Blues are back!” Tour.
The debut album from Lucky Peterson, “Our Future”, was produced by Willie Dixon and released in 1969 when Lucky was only 5 years old. Immediately he was booked to appear on ‘The Ed Sullivan Show’ and ‘The Tonight Show’.
Lucky continued his career in the bands of Etta James, Bobby “Blue” Bland, Little Milton and Otis Rush throughout the 1970’s. His solo career started again in the 1980’s and Lucky has released albums on Alligator Records, Verve, Universal, Blue Thumb and more. His latest album was 2017’s ‘Tribute to Jimmy Smith’.
