The 100 Club presents…

Resolution, a ten-day festival of all things punk, is returning yet again to it’s spiritual home, the 100 Club, for the 6th year running in January 2020. Resolution Festival celebrates the bands and musicians who kick started the punk movement and those who continue to breathe new life into it today.

Tickets for the whole festival available at £85.

For the first time the festival will be 14+, anyone under 18 needs to come along with an adult.

SUBHUMANS

U.K. anarchist punk collective Subhumans formed in the Trowbridge area of Wiltshire in 1980, comprised of vocalist Dick, guitarist Bruce, bassist Phil, and drummer Trotsky. The band enjoyed success as one of the more literate and musically athletic British punk ensembles between 1980 and 1985, occupying the middle ground between the Clash’s political songcraft and Crass’ experimental warfare. Through five full-length records on their own BLUURG label (The Day the Country Died, From the Cradle to the Grave, Worlds Apart, 29:29 Split Vision, and Rats) and six EPs (not to mention a bevy of D.I.Y. cassettes), the band challenged both the government and its people to not only rage against the world, but to improve it. The band, which had split off into Citizen Fish (Dick also spent time with Culture Shock in between), reunited in 1998 and reappeared in 2004 with two live releases, Live in a Dive on Fat Wreck and the All Gone Live DVD through Cleopatra.

THE BLUNDERS

No-holds-barred dance-punk – . Politically charged with biting social commentary and savage humour.

REBEL STATION

Three Piece Rebel Station are a high energy, Punk Rock n Roll band, electrifying stages across the country, playing original songs at a frenetic pace. Dual lead vocals and mosh pit inducing, 4/4 tempos, ensure the band leave punters wanting more wherever they play.

Having toured extensively around the South and Midlands, playing both venue gigs and outdoor festivals and being regular support for bands like Vice Squad, Ricky Warwick, XSLF (Ex Stiff Little Fingers), Peter and the Test Tube Babies, The Lurkers and Bruce Foxton’s From the Jam, Rebel Station will be increasing their presence from 2019, starting with a set on Rebellion’s Introducing Stage.
