UK SUBS + Janus Stark

With 2017 marking the U.K. Subs’ 40th anniversary, the U.K. Subs are still thrilling and captivating audiences worldwide with their ‘On Tour Forever’ ethic. Led by the indefatigable 72 years young ‘Godfather’ of British punk Charlie Harper, they’ve constantly gigged every year since their formation in 1977, after initially quickly building up a fiercely loyal, sizeable following, they subsequently peppered the Top 40 with a run of infectious singles between 1979 and 1981. Many highlights followed, too numerous to mention here, but in 2016 the band released their critically acclaimed final album ‘Ziezo’, as they completed their quest to be the first band ever, to release their official albums alphabetically from A to Z. Many long-time Subs fans have commented that the new album is as good as the early ‘classic albums’, of which some went Top 10.
With a powerful line-up in place of, Charlie, Steve Straughan on guitar, Alvin Gibbs on bass and Jamie Oliver on drums, the U.K. Subs continue to entertain, enlighten and enthuse with blistering recordings and enthralling live shows.
